I knew and worked with David for many years as a fellow faculty member. In particular he was a member of a committee I chaired that dealt with students with academic problems and made recommendations as to the fate of the students in the podiatric program. David was always very empathetic to the students’ plight but never let it compromise his integrity or dedication to the tenets of his chosen profession. He will a great loss to both the profession and to the students. I will personally miss him and his good humor.

David was the Faculty Representative to The William Scholl College’s Alumni Association during my years of leadership. He spoke on behalf of the students from the faculty’s perspective; always with care and concern for the Podiatry students. Sincere condolences.

I don’t know what words to say, I feel a terrible ache in my heart. I loved David, and never stopped loving him. He was more than my little brother, he was the Best Man at my wedding. Growing up he was my best friend and someone who I loved and admired. He had a special personality and the most contagious smile that brightened your day. I My sympathies to Mickie and Alex.

Dr. Kibrit was an incredibly brilliant professor and physician. I thoroughly enjoyed being his student both in the classroom and in the clinic, where his patients clearly adored him. He taught me not only about biomechanics and clinical sciences, but also how to relate to others and make them feel comfortable. Dr. Kibrit was one of my favorite professors at Scholl- he always made our course time enjoyable and upbeat. Scholl College has lost a wonderful podiatrist and mentor. Thank you Dr. Kibrit for being in my life, however briefly. You taught me so much about being a good doctor and kind person <3
